Background

McLean joined Heimsath Alexander in October 2025 as a solicitor working in our Property team, alongside partners Lloyd Berryman and Carole Smith.

McLean graduated from Auckland University in 2020 with a BA/LLB.  McLean has a particular interest in property law and has gained experience in a wide range of residential and commercial property matters, along with strong skills in trusts and private client and estate planning areas.  McLean enjoys helping clients navigate their way through the legal process, and his clients appreciate his calm approach to making difficult topics easily understood, while his attention to detail ensures that transactions run smoothly and efficiently.

Outside work, McLean enjoys being active with hobbies like bouldering, hiking, and exercising at the gym, but he also appreciates quality time at home with a good book and coffee in hand.
