Background

Roel has spent the past 14 years helping New Zealand companies do business in China. Now, as part of Heimsath Alexander’s Corporate/Commercial team, he helps international businesses navigate doing business in New Zealand.

With extensive experience in corporate and commercial law, Roel is known for providing practical, commercially focused advice on complex transactions. He advises on a broad range of matters, including M&A transactions, service and supply agreements, and Overseas Investment Act consents.

Fluent in Mandarin, Roel enjoys cycling and dragon boating when he is away from the office.
